About the Course
The Online Resilience Training course is designed to help people to realise the resources they have that contribute to their level of resilience when faced with significant challenges and adversity, and assist them in developing resilience skills and attributes over time.
The course begins by explaining what resilience is and how it can be achieved, before breaking this down into five categories, or ‘pillars’ of resilience. This categorisation is important, because the more attributes someone has across the range of pillars, the more likely they are to be able to deal with adversity and recover quickly from difficult situations.
Finally, the course provides further tools for resilience development, including how to understand yourself and your own abilities and strengths.
Available in 31 languages, the course takes around 35 minutes to complete.
