Aimed at employees who regularly work from home or remotely as part of their job, this online course provides the user with tools to ensure high levels of productivity when they are away from the workplace.

With roughly 1.7 million homeworkers in the UK, which is a number that is expected to keep rising, employers must ensure that if they are employing a remote worker, they offer them the tools and knowledge that they need to perform their job effectively.

Course Contents

This course consists of three sections:

Section 1: creating a productive workspace

Everyone’s workspace needs are different, but this section identifies the basic requirements for focused working and some techniques for remaining productive despite the distractions of home.

Section 2: structure

Section 2 explains how to create structure in your day when you are managing your own time. This includes techniques for planning and prioritising your workload, creating boundaries for yourself, and how to reduce the impact of distractions.

Section 3: communication

Section 3 provides tips and tools for effectively communicating with colleagues from a distance, including useful technology for talking and managing workflow.

The Effective Remote Working Training course covers all the key challenges faced by remote workers, providing tips and advice for staying on task and keeping yourself accountable for your output.
