CDM Regulations Training

Overview

This online training course covers everything the user needs to know about planning, managing, and maintaining everyone’s safety throughout construction activities.

Aiming to help the user effectively plan their projects, this 30 minute course helps the user to understand the CDM Regulations, and teaches them how to maintain a safe working construction site.

Course Contents

This course consists of three sections:

Section 1: what are the CDM regulations?

Section 1 introduces the CDM regulations, including its core values and where the regulations apply. It details the responsibilities of everyone involved in a construction project, and the penalties you can expect for failure to comply.

Section 2: planning

Section 2 explains the details of planning a construction project, from assigning duty-holders to preparing a construction phase plan. It offers actionable guidance on the necessary pre-construction information that should be gathered, and what should be included in a health and safety file.

Section 3: safe sites

Section 3 focuses on the range of safety measures that ensure a safe construction site for all workers. This includes topics such as emergency procedures, welfare facilities, and vehicle and equipment safety.
