This online training course is designed for the leaders and managers within your organisation. It aims to help the user to create a positive culture by providing practical guidance for preventing bullying in the workplace.
The course covers the importance of zero tolerance bullying policies, handling complaints, the differences are between bullying and harassment, and how to prevent and tackle bullying and harassment at work.

Course Contents
This course consists of three sections:
Section 1: what are bullying and harassment?
This course begins with an introduction to bullying and harassment, in which each term is defined and the differences and similarities between them are presented. It focuses on how bullying and harassment manifest in the workplace, what behaviours are acceptable and unacceptable, and how to identify them. Finally, this section examines the role of management in preventing and confronting situations of bullying and harassment.
Section 2: practical steps
Section 2 details the steps you can take to stop bullying and harassment, including policies and fear of retribution. Contextualising bullying by exploring why it occurs, this section also provides steps you can follow to tackle it, both formally and informally.
Section 3: how can I prevent bullying from happening?
The third section of this course demonstrates how bullying can be prevented by the introduction of a zero-tolerance policy, increased awareness about bullying and its effects, and continuous work towards a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
About the Course
The Bullying & Harassment training course for managers is designed to help management lead the development of a positive work environment that is safe for everyone. It works to define bullying and harassment, how these behaviours differ from each other, and ways in which they appear the same, before going into detail about how bullying can be recognised, confronted, and eradicated.
Split into three sections, this course offers several preventative measures for how to maintain employee safety and wellbeing, including your responsibilities in the control of aggressive behaviour at work.
