Like all good things in life Papaya was created to make things better.
Better for businesses and people.
Our founder entrepreneur Nick Edwards has a passion for making ideas and plans happen.
An innovator in the drinks field, with over two decades experience of building well known food brands, he knew there must be a smarter way to manage compliance.
And so Papaya was born. A software tool developed to give complete assurance while saving time and money.
And by understanding there is no one size that fits all – Papaya was built to be adaptable to different needs.
For Nick and his team, it’s always about how they can add value. That’s why Papaya has evolved with the companies we work with and why we’re considered a partner not a provider.
Initially developed as a solution for the food manufacturing industry others quickly saw the benefits Papaya offers.
Today we work with a broad range of forward thinking organisations empowering them to achieve their learning and compliance ambitions.

Making things better in a different way
We work together with the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink to provide the LMS portals that drive the Food & Drink Compliance Passport, the Kickstart Scheme and other government initiatives designed to support upskilling job seekers with core basic food safety knowledge and ultimately support employment opportunities in the sector.
We’re especially proud of the role Papaya’s software has played in developing the National Skills Academy Food and Drink Careers Passport. Helping over 1,000 users get work ready for the food and drinks manufacturing industry.
We want to leave the world in a better place. Everything about the way we work supports sustainability targets helping ourselves and others to leave the best kind of footprint.
We want everyone who works or partners with Papaya to feel welcome and to trust us to be fair and inclusive. Never complacent, we’re proactive about the listening and learning we must do to achieve this.
